Surface Cleaning Ejector

 

This system aims to improve the efficiency of surface cleaning sand filters washed with water and open air fully or partially reducing the consumption of water used for the surface scanning, during the washing steps and subsequent rinsing.

The set consists of a water line drive, and a distributor with nozzles that are self powered and built from a small volume of water drive, energy and the flow required to maintain the momentum of the wind current that produces the sweep surface.

The motive water may come from a source outside the system which achieves a partial reduction of consumption, or can be generated within the system by taking the water from the interior of the filter through a small pump flow.

The decrease of water flow directly impacts the driving pipe size manifold, using small diameters (2-4 inches), thus facilitating their integration into the filter box.

The system can be applied to both existing open filters or filters running new build.

The estimated reduction of water volume required for washing an open filter, with homogeneous mantle is around 40%.

No limitations on the size of the filter, and can be used both as filters filters monolayer bilayer.

The sweep speed achieved is greater than 25 m / min, this makes it particularly well suited for sweeping foam and / or float in flotation systems.
